Today, the GB Group includes five hotels, designed and manufactured for different types of guests and the specific needs of everyone: the Hotel Terme Metropole (4 star), the Grand Hotel Terme Trieste & Victoria (5 star), the Abano Grand Hotel (5 stars), Hotel Terme Due Torri (5 stars) and Hotel La Residence & Idrokinesis (4 stars).
The history of the group, full of passion, has began in the seventies when Aldo Borile, a true pioneer in the thermal spa of new generation, designed special pumps for extracting thermal water and for the collection of curative mud, that patented, have been then adopted by all the hotels and spas of the Euganean basin.
Since then, the growth of the GB Thermae Hotels has continued over the years: in 1979 the first hotel was acquired, the Hotel Metropole, completely renovated and expanded. It followed the acquisition of Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria (1989), the Hotel Due Torri (1999), and La Residence in 2000 that within a few years, has become a clinic of excellence for rehabilitation in thermal water, taking the name of La Residence & Idrokinesis.
In the nineties, in addition, the GB Thermae Hotels Group has started the implementation of the Abano Grand Hotel, the only five-star luxury hotel in the province of Padua, which was opened on February 14th 1998.
Today, the GB Thermae Hotels are the leading hotels in Italy in the world of wellness and of the thermal spa. With their 852 rooms and 423 permanent staff members ensure a high level of service and a constant and careful development in the field of prevention and care, thanks to an advanced medical team and to a highly trained spa staff, divided in various categories, but always at the top level of hospitality and catering proposals.
