THE THERMAL GROTTO SPA

The regular use of the thermal grotto spa during the stay is a relaxing therapeutic treatment which is done often as a completion of the traditional thermal treatments.

The grotto-therapy can either be done in a warm-humid environment (the grotto) or in a warm-dry environment (sauna): the spa doctor will recommend the best treatment.

Absorbed in the particular microclimate caused by heat and the chemical and physical properties of the vaporized mineral spring water,  relaxing in the thermal grotto-spa activates in the organism circulatory phenomena and toning mechanisms with vasodilatation, capillarization of the tissues and intense sweating.

It is an useful treatment for toning the muscle apparatus and a purification with a general detoxification thanks to the elimination of metabolic wastes through the skin.

This ancient natural healing has recently been reassessed and is now being proposed in association with fango-balneotherapy in the treatment of arthro-rheumatic diseases, in the well-being stays, in the diet programs and when looking for a physical and psychological recovery in the treatment of chronic stress.
